What is StarMart’s Return Policy?

Our"100% Buyer Protection Program" allows for easy returns and refundsfor:
 
•             1.Products which you received in "Damaged/Defective/Broken" condition.
•             2.Products not as per description/photo on the website.
•             3.Products which you may not like for quality, color and design related issues.
 
All the products must be returned in the original condition they were receivedin along with any bills and labels. Please follow the below given steps toregister your dispute within 7 days of receipt of the product. Disputesregistered after 7 days of delivery may not be entertained by sellers.Consumable products like food and beverages, bath and beauty products and bulkyitems like furniture/statues/paintings/temples (mandir) cannot be returned.Custom stitched products cannot be returned.

How to raise dispute for an order?

Youneed to register your dispute in either of the two ways:
 
•             1. Bysending email to support@starmart.co.in with images ofbroken/defective/damaged products within 3 days of delivery. We needphotos of the damaged/defective/different products received so that we candefend your dispute with relevant seller. Please mention your order number inthe email.
•             2.Register dispute directly with seller by following below procedure for directresolution which usually is faster.
To register dispute directly with seller, please follow belowmentioned easy process:
o            1. Go to your customer account here athttp://www.starmart.co.in/customer/account and sign in when prompted.
o             2. OrClick the "My Account link" at the top of the site and sign in whenprompted.
o             3.Click on the "Confirmed Orders" Tab on the left side and Select theOrder you wish to return.
o             4. Onthe order detail page you will see "Raise Dispute with Seller"section.
o             5.Enter the details of your dispute and attach relevant images there.
o             6.Click "Raise Dispute to Seller" button once ready.
o             7. Ifyou are not registered on StarMart.co.in, you can register by clicking the"Register" link on the top of website and then file the dispute oryou can send email to support@starmart.co.in
 
After the seller reviews your return request, you will receive an e-mail withinstructions on resolution or return of your item. Please allow the sellerthree days to respond to your return request and provide instructions onreturning your item. We recommend using an online traceable courier service forreturning your items.

Whathappens after a dispute is raised?

After the seller reviews your return request, you will receive anemail containing the instructions and return shipping address to which you needto send back the product within 7 days. We recommend using an online traceablecourier service for returning your items.
Note: Please allow the seller 3 days to respond to your return request andprovide instructions on returning your item.

What to do if Seller is not responding to the dispute?

Pleaseallow 3 business days for your seller to address the issue and provideinstructions for your return/ resolution. If the seller does not respond evenafter 3 business days, or if your issue is not addressed to your satisfaction,you can submit the dispute by sending email to support@starmart.co.in and wewill ensure you get timely resolution to your dispute.

Who pays for the delivery charges for returning of products?

Whenyou're returning an item that was damaged/ defective or due to an error on theseller's part, you will be compensated for return courier charges. You will bepaid flat Rs. 100 voucher which can be used to buy any of the StarMart productsfor next 3 months. Please pack well when you are returning the product so thatit reaches the seller in good condition.
The amount you paid for the product plus any shipping paid at the time of orderwill be directly refunded back to your bank account/credit card/debit cardwithin 15 working days of refund.

When will I be refunded?

We canrefund you when the seller notifies us of the receipt of the item back from youor the online tracking shows as delivered to the seller address. Remember thatitems have to be returned to sellers directly by you. Once the seller notifiesus of the receipt of the return item, we will credit the amount back to youwithin 15 working days (does not include Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays).

CanI return a part of my order?

Yes, a return can be created at item level but if you haveordered multiple quantities of the same item, you cannot initiate a return fora partial quantity.

Whatitems are not returnable?

Items falling under following categories CANNOT bereturned Consumable items like Food and Beverages, Bath and Beauty
Bulky items like Furniture/ Statues/ Paintings/ Temples (Mandir) Custom stitched products
1. CANCELLATION POLICY :
StarMart believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy.
 
Please note following rules under this policy :
 
  • Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
     
  • There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category. ​Same day delivery products are products for which same day delivery is promissed at the time of product purchase. No cancellations are entertained for those products that the StarMart marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine's Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.
 
 
2. Refund/Replacement Policy :
 
  • Damaged Items

We take extreme care to when packing and dispatching your items so that they are delivered all the way to you safely.

However, by rare chance, it could be possible that some postal service men made a mistake and you find yourself receiving damaged items. Should such a case occur, we will give you a full refund or a replacement. All we need is photos of:

  1. The parcel that you received
  2. The product that you think have been damaged
  3. Any notice from your local postal service (e.g. an apology note)

Now, sit back and leave it to us. We will assess the case immediately and notify you of the assessment result and the future procedure.

  • Defective Items

We will give a full refund or replacement to any defective items. Should you find your items defective, feel free to contact us. We will assess the case immediately and notify you of the assessment result and the future procedure.

  • Incorrect Orders

We always quintuple-check to make sure that we ship correct orders to you. If you think you have received a wrong order, please let us know. We will give a full refund or replacement to incomplete orders.

  • Conditions

There are several conditions to our refund and replacement policies:

  • A request for refund or replacement must be made within 7 days after you receive the parcel or within 15 days after the parcel is dispatched from our warehouse.
  • After the assessment of the case, we may conclude you are ineligible for a refund or replacement.
  • Claim regarding quality issue of Bollywood Replica products are not eligible for StarMart Refund / Replacement policy.
  • Refund and replacement policies are subject to change.
